One of the main impacts of wildfires is health-related issues that follow with the smoke that’s left behind. The current air quality around California is under 200, as said on https://www.airnow.gov/, this is very unhealthy and poses a big risk to those who suffer from breathing problems. Along with causing health risks, many families' homes are burned and they lose many priceless items, pets, and even family members. Although there are some environmental benefits to wildfires as they give the forest a chance to regenerate, they also kill thousands of animals and ruin habitats. Overall, wildfires are something that’s very common in California and precautions are taken to ensure the safety of the people, animals etc. they are still extremely destructive and burn everything in its path.
